Carolina (ADCNC)


a provider of advocacy, information and referral services and public
education for the state on alcohol and other substance abuse addiction.
ADCNC believes addiction is a preventable and treatable chronic disease
and that substance abuse treatment and prevention services should be
available and accessible in the primary health care system.

North Carolina Mental Hope
Our efforts also include awareness efforts directed toward the media,
public and policy makers with NCMentalHope.org, a resource of updated
daily news from across the nation and the NCAdvocacy discussion group, a
network of more than 100 mental health advocates from across the state.
We also maintain a number of email lists to update advocates and the
media statewide on issues of concern. And from our “legislative contact
page,” citizens are able to conveniently email elected officials,
including the entire General Assembly if so desired.
