COVID-19

Supporting You Now and Always…

NAMI NC and its affiliates are working rapidly to continually adapt to the needs of our mental health community during the Coronavirus (COVID19) pandemic. NAMI understands that the presence of this virus in our community can cause a strain to the healthiest of individuals, not to mention those who live with a mental or physical illness or those that have financial hardships. We want to be a resource for you throughout this crisis and always.

Here is a word from NAMI NC Executive Director, Garry Crites

NAMI NC strongly encourages people to not only check the CDC website daily for updates, but to also listen for updates from local news and public health care providers.

All of these resources are provided at no cost to you.  NAMI NC and its affiliates are nonprofit organizations and it takes money and resources to make our programs and advocacy efforts possible.  We ask you to join in NAMIWalks NC today!  This is our largest fundraising event of the year and critical to our ability to make a difference in the community.  Click here for more information on this free activity that not only is fun, but is good for everyone’s mental health.  Donations are welcome as well!

Additionally, implementing virtual solutions have increased the need for additional volunteers, particularly with technology and outreach.  If you are able to help out and volunteer, please contact your local affiliate or click here for more information.
