Fonda Bryant

Fonda Bryant is a Gastonia, NC Native. She is the very proud mom of a former Wake Forest University football player. She is a big sports fan and especially loves pro and college football. Fonda has been a mental health advocate for 21 years and has served NAMI Charlotte for over 2 years, she joined in March of 2014. Since joining NAMI Charlotte, she has been implementing projects that have brought attention to mental health such as “Scoring for Mental Health” with former NFL and Super Bowl Champion Keith O’Neill, Get to Know NAMI Charlotte with Alpha Kappa Alpha, and the Green Ribbon Ride. Fonda was diagnosed with depression in 1995. In her spare time, she enjoys exercising, attending concerts, writing (especially for the Charlotte Observer’s Moms Section), traveling, and attending sporting events. Most of all, she is a mental health advocate.
